TriageHealth is not a medical service
Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

1. Not Medical Advice
TriageHealth provides educational health information and general wellness insights. The assessments, scores, recommendations, and reports generated by this platform are:
- For informational and educational purposes only.
- Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
- Not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Not a replacement for regular check-ups with your GP, consultant, or specialist.
2. Blood Work Interpretation
Our biomarker analysis uses published reference ranges and evidence-based optimal ranges. However:
- Reference ranges vary between laboratories, assay methods, and populations.
- A single blood test result is a snapshot — biomarker values fluctuate due to biological variation, time of day, fasting status, hydration, stress, and recent exercise.
- Our “optimal” ranges reflect research-informed targets that may differ from your laboratory’s reference ranges. Neither our ranges nor your lab’s ranges are absolute truths.
- Critical or unexpected blood work findings should always be discussed with your healthcare provider, who has access to your complete clinical history.
3. Cardiovascular Risk Assessment
Our cardiovascular risk illustrations use published algorithms (AHA/ACC Pooled Cohort Equations, AHA PREVENT Equations). These are the same tools used in clinical practice but:
- Risk scores are population-level estimates, not individual predictions.
- They have known limitations in certain populations (young adults, some ethnic groups).
- Risk calculators do not account for all risk factors (family history details, inflammatory conditions, etc.).
- Clinical decisions about medications (statins, antihypertensives) should only be made with your healthcare provider.
4. Nutrient Analysis
Dietary analysis from food frequency questionnaires or food diaries provides estimates, not precise measurements:
- FFQ-derived nutrient estimates typically have ±30-50% uncertainty for micronutrients.
- Food composition databases contain average values — actual nutrient content varies by growing conditions, preparation methods, and storage.
- Absorption of nutrients depends on many factors beyond raw intake (our bioavailability module accounts for some, but not all, of these).
- Supplement recommendations in our reports are educational suggestions, not prescriptions. Discuss with your healthcare provider before starting any supplement regimen.
5. AI-Generated Content
Some features of TriageHealth use artificial intelligence to generate insights and respond to questions. AI-generated content:
- May contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
- Should not be relied upon for medical decisions.
- Is not reviewed by a healthcare professional before being presented to you.
- Is subject to the limitations of the underlying AI models.
6. Emergency Situations
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 (UK), 112 (EU), or your local emergency number immediately. Do not use TriageHealth to assess emergency symptoms.
7. Professional Users
Healthcare professionals using TriageHealth for client assessments remain responsible for:
- Exercising independent clinical judgement.
- Verifying assessment outputs against their clinical knowledge and the patient’s full medical history.
- Making treatment decisions that are within their scope of practice and regulatory framework.
- Communicating the limitations of algorithmic health assessments to their clients.
8. Regulatory Status
TriageHealth is classified as a general wellness product. It is not a regulated medical device under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745), the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002 (as amended), or the US FDA. The platform does not:
- Diagnose diseases or medical conditions.
- Recommend specific medications or dosages.
- Claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease.
- Make definitive statements about disease risk for individuals.
All outputs use language consistent with educational framing: “Research suggests...”, “Associated with...”, “Consider discussing with your healthcare provider...”
9. Limitation of Liability
TriageHealth, its directors, employees, and contractors accept no liability for any harm, injury, or loss arising from reliance on information provided by the platform. Your use of the Service is at your own risk. See our Terms of Service for full liability provisions.
